DHCP server. If Off, the modem router does not assign IP addresses to PCs on the LAN. If
On, the modem router does assign IP addresses to computers on the LAN.
IP Subnet Mask. The subnet mask associated with the LAN IP address.
Modem Settings
ADSL Firmware Version. The model of the hardware and the currently running firmware
version.
Modem Status. The status of the modem connection on the DSL line.
Downstream Connection Speed. The connection speed of the ADSL connection from the
phone company to your Router.
Upstream Connection Speed. The connection speed of the ADSL connection from your
Router to the phone company.
VPI. The VPI setting.
VCI. The VCI setting.
Wireless Port Settings
See Wireless Setup on page 25 for a more detailed description of these settings.
Name (SSID). The Wi-Fi network name (service set ID) for the wireless network.
Region. The country where the unit is set up for use.
Channel. The current channel, which determines the operating frequency.
Mode. The current Mbps setting.
Wireless AP. Indicates if the access point feature is enabled. If disabled, the Wireless LED
on the front panel is off.
Broadcast Name. Indicates if the modem router is configured to broadcast its SSID.
